Hillel Hosts Passover Seder

Hillel members and guests from the community gathered during April for a traditional Passover seder. Fifteen people were in attendance, making the seder one of the most successful events that Salisbury Hillel has held this year.

The seder food was cooked by Hillel members, and the service was led by the Rabbi of the Salisbury synagogue. All the food and desserts were kosher for Passover, and guests were able to enjoy a nice dinner and celebrate a very important Jewish holiday together.

Hillel Participates in Recycle Madness

Hillel at Salisbury University collected 127 pounds of recyclable goods this year for Recycle Madness, an annual charity event at Salisbury.

Groups had to contribute at least 75 pounds with of materials, and Hillel- being a small organization- was nervous that they couldn't make the weight amount. Members worked hard and found extra materials and the weight goal was reached, with special thanks going to the Salisbury Synagogue for their donation of materials and their continued support.
